February 10, 2008 – Creative Learning Systems announces 2008 Advanced Facilitator Development Conference

Creative Learning Systems has announced the dates and location for its 2008 Advanced Facilitator Development Conference (AFDC). This year's conference will be held on June 16-20 in Albuquerque, NM. The conference will be hosted by Southwest Secondary Learning Center which last hosted the 2005 summer conference. Fitting the Southwest location, the theme for this year's conference is "Get Fired Up!"

AFDC is always a stimulating and exciting week for SmartLab facilitators, packed with information and ideas to take their programs to the next level. AFDC offers invaluable training in SmartLab tools and applications and facilitation techniques and ideas. Attendees to recent AFDC's have benefited from workshops in multimedia and video production, e-portfolio's and small-scale chemistry and been the first to see the latest developments in learning resources such as robotics, video and sensing equipment.

Creative Learning Systems recently helped SSLC implement a comprehensive upgrade of their SmartLab facility. Attendees to this year's conference will be able to work with some of the latest collections of learning resources including one of the most advanced video production learning platforms ever installed in a US school. In addition, responding to requests from many of our education partners, a featured workshop this year will be alternative energy exploration in the SmartLab.
